Question: How can I use Digital Editions after I change my email id?

I purchased many ebooks using the email address dwilly. Then I changed my email ID to DebraWilson with another company. Then I purchased more ebooks and couldn't open the books because I had changed my email ID. So I contacted Adobe. The technician changed my id for Digition Editions so that DebraWilson could use DE to read my ebooks. Unfortunately, then all the books I had purchased as Dwilly would no longer open. I really don't want to go back and re-purchase all those books again. Is there any way I can open the books purchased with a no longer functioning email id?
