RE: Adobe Digital Editions 2.0 CRASHES right after installing! WHY?

I've been at this for more than a dozen times now to get Adobe Digital Editions installed on my computer, running Windows XP Pro SP2, with Microsoft .NET Framework v.3.5 SP1 installed. Every attempt at running ADE ends up crashing on me! I need to know WHY and what am I maybe missing here?
