Re-install eBooks in Adobe Digital Editions

Yesterday when I opened my tablet (Surface Pro 8), many of the icons that I have used earlier, were taken away, and some were empty. One of them was the icon for Adobe Digital Editions. When I opened the icon, there were 0 items on the Bookshelf, and I know that I have had access to more than twenty eBooks via this icon. Now I need help to re-establish the connection to these books. The chat bot did not understand my problem, so I need an e-mail address to a person who can re-install the books that I have had. Please help!
