Reader XI Preferences

I just downloaded Reader XI this morning, and it said to changes the update preferences after installation. I have a MiFi with a VERY limited data cap & need everything on MANUAL update.

I've been thru Properties (right click on icon) and scoured the FAQS. Anybody know where I can change the automatic update preference, PLEASE?!?!?!

Go to the Edit menu

At the bottom of the Edit menu there is a menu item named "Preferences"

Select the "Preferences" menu item

A window with the name "Preferences" at the top will appear

On the left side of the "Preferences" window there will be a window pane named "Catagories"

Scroll all the way down until you see the list item named "Updater"

Select the "Updater" item

In the right side of the "Preferences" window the content will change.

You will have the option to turn OFF the updater

Select it

Click the OK button at the bottom of the "Preferences" window
