reauthorizing ADE on PC after deauthorizing to set up overdrive with adobe id

Hi, I found the information, after having set up my adobe id authorization and setting up my non adobe id authorized overdrive account, to deauthorize my ADE with the 'help' tab while then authorizing overdrive with my adobe id; however, now the authorize option under 'help' when I open ADE on my windows 7 pc is not highlighted, and I do not know how to reauthorize adobe id on ADE on my laptop.
