remove no longer existing email address from ADE

I have in my adobe digital edtions 4.5 as authorization and old email address (xs4all). To remove this authorization it asks for a password, something I don't remember. Now it is no longer possible to place books on my e-reader. The question is whether you can remove this old authorization?
