Removed, Re-Installed, Restarted PC no go

For some weird reason, my Digital Editions doesn't open anymore. Well it opens, shows up in Task Manager, then after a few seconds it closes. I'm doing book reviews and really need to get this working ASAP since there's no other way to open these.

I have a Windows 10 laptop. I have uninstalled the program. Restarted the PC. Downloaded a new version and installed it. Still nothing. It's really frustrating.

My phone version (Huawei P8lite) opens the app but the token.acsm doesn't extract the book it just opens the app but nothing happens afterwards.

Please help!
