Right bar is missing when reading ebook

Im using adobe digital editions to read an ebook. The right had side bar / toolbar is missing when i read my ebook but it was there yesterday. how do i get it back?

    Do you mean the left hand side one (Table of Contents/Bookmarks)?

    ctrl-T while in reading mode should toggle if (cmd=T on Mac, menu/Reading/show-hide Navigation Panel on either).

    I can't see any other toolbar or way to get one.
