Scrolling / browsing through pages is not possible for e-books from onleihe

A client is getting his e-books from the Hannover library. On Windows it is not possible to change the page using Adobe Digital Editions. What could be the issue?

Adobe Digital Editions: v4.5.12

Device: Microsoft Windows 10 Pro, 64-bit (build 19045)

We tried to reinstall Adobe Digital Editions but it didn't change anything.

The library was not able to help.
