Security bug: Digital Editions does not support all valid passwords!

I used to have a adobe-id password that contained  the characters "¤&" which works in Adobe Lightroom Clasic, on the web pages and in the Creative Cloud Desktop.

But for some strange resaon not in the Digital Editions program! The error message was unhelpful!

I spent a lot of time working around this MAJOR bug!

It is very hard to bug report adobe products even security related bugs like this!

Please let me know when this is fixed!
