The error message I get is E_ACT_NOT_READY. Not able to clear my computer's authorization Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) and request a new one. A window asks for my ADE password, but I've forgotten it.

I work on MacOS Tahoe 26.3.1. I recently switched computers, but I can't buy new ebooks or open some of my old ones.
