Too many Activations

Have been going round in circles since yesterday. I have looked up the message and understand it but can't get any information that works about it. seems if its free Adobe don't want to know. I use the library as I read around 4 books a week and can't buy that many but I am let down by Adobe. Can anyone help please. I am a pensioner and not very technically minded.
