Transfer problems from an iMac to my nook reader?

Cannot transfer e-books mu I-Mac to my nook. I dowloaded the latest flash player recently and it seemed the problems started after that. I get the error message . E-pub E10_Write.Failed to write destination file. Please help. I've tried everything i know?
