Transfers to Kobo Aura aren't resulting in complete books

I have recently purchased a Kobo Aura and connected it to my computer. I have tried downloading books but can't seem to get the full book to transfer. Sometimes it misses a few chapters at the beginning, sometimes it doesn't seem to transfer anything. Any idea why?

    Has you check the file on Digital Edition before you move it to the reader. Work it for the transfer finde?

    The version on my computer before I move it works fine and has the full book.
