Trouble downloading from reader to nook?

I am having trouble moving a book from Adobe Reader to Nook.  The nook appears on the device list i gray, but will not allow a click on it.  The nook does appear in my device manager as installed.  What am I missing?

When you say The nook appears on the device list i gray, do you mean the device list of ADE (digital editions).One possibility is that you have not yet registered the nook with ADE.Try menu/Help/Authorize Device to ADE
