Trying to authorize my Adobe Digital Editions on my computer - gives error

I'm trying to authorize my Adobe Digital Editions on my computer, but it gives me the following message: "You can only authorize this computer with an Adobe ID that hasn't been used to authorize any other computer or mobile devices." How do I fix this? I don't remember authorizing another computer with this e-mail, but if I did, it was a computer that no longer functions. Is there a way to de-authorize a computer remotely?

I have the same problem.  I also just lost all of my bookmarks and highlights in my textbook when I reopened it.  I wish I had just bought the textbook because this software is terrible.

I have the same problem, as I cannot log onto my Adobe account from the Adobe Digital Editions on my computer.

I get the same message, although the only device that was authorised was my reading device.
