Two Adobe IDs - ADE only accepts the wrong one

I have had this problem for two years or more.

I ended up with two adobe accounts - one for my personal email and one for my work email.

Every time I erase - as completely as I can figure out how to do - ADE and reinstall it insists on going to my personal email ID/account when, buying academic books, google directs them to my university ID.

There has to be a way to change the account ADE detects.

Please help, this is infuriating.
