Unable to download

i have an Ereader and Adobe is the solfaare used. I currently have Adobe 3.0 after installing and uninstalling Adobe 4.5 because the newer version did not help. When I try to download a library book I get this message

Unable to download

Error getting license.  License Server Communication Problem

E_ACT_NOT_READY

How do I solve this issue. This is a new problem, I have had the Kobo and downloaded many books prior to this. Kobo tells me it is an Adobe software issue and they have others experiencing the same problem.

Until this is is fixed I am not able to read on my ereader.

Any help would be appreciated.

    I am having the same problem with my books. No one can answer this question apparently
