Unable to download .acsm file

I am trying to download an .acsm file on my mac but I keep getting the message:

"Unable to download.

Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem:

E_ADEPT_DOCUMENT_OPEN_ERROR"

I would be most greateful for any help
