Unable to download e-Pub book to ADE

Due to ongoing hard drive errors for the past two months, I had to erase my drive and start again. I recently downloaded a ePub book to read via Adobe Digital Editions and authorized without a vendor ID. And I got this message: Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem:
E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER 

Any idea on how to fix it?
