Unable to download ebook

I tried to download ebook using adobe digital edition  but got an error message stating - Unalbe to download  

Error getting licence. License server communication problem

Please assist to reolve  this issue. Below is the screen shot

    I have the exact same problem and have tried the same things as the previous posters. I have also tried opening on mobile and i receive the same kind of error message, though worded differently. I have made zero changes to my computer and it worked fine a couple of months ago.

    Unable to download library books to Windows 10, Windows 11 and Android devices using A.D.E. vs 4.5.11.1873.03 and even downloaded A.D.E. vs 3.0 but keep getting message: "Unable to Download, Error Getting License, License Server Communication Problem, E_LIC_LICENSE_GIGN_ERROR" Tried uninstalling, reinstalling de-authorising, re-authorising rebooting systems etc... Tried every which way for 4 days not able to download. Tried this morning (17th November 2022) to download and low and behold it worked the book is now on my ereader NO ERROR MESSAGES. Why can't Adobe put a message out saying they are having a problem and to try again later like other Companies?????????

    I have the same problem. Dialogue box comes up with

    “ Unable to download

    Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem: E_LIC_LICENSE_SIGN_ERROR ”

    Can’t download Library books to transfer to Kobo reader. This has been like it now for 3 days.

    Running Adobe Digital Editions 4.5.11.187303 with Windows 11. Have Uninstalled A.D.E with the computer authorisation, done a reboot and reinstalled A.D.E, still the same error.

    Have installed A.D.E. on windows 10 laptop and downloaded book still the same error message appears. Looks like its an Adobe problem. HELP.

    I am facing the same issue. The digital edition could not open the ebook I just downloaded. I am a mac-user. Please assist.
