After downloading a book from my library's site, upon opening ADE I get this error box

unable to download Error getting Licence. Licence Server Communication Problem. E_IO_WRITE

I tried another book, same thing. I unauthorized my computer, uninstalled ADE, reinstalled ADE and re-authorized my computer, and still have the error.

Ideas?
