The right answer is that after you download the acsm file the license only lasts one hour. After that time if you try to open it with Adobe digital editions you get this error message.

    I've spent an hour trying to solve this problem and THIS IS THE SOLUTION that worked for me on Windows 11. Thank you!

      That link no longer takes you to anything because it seems the Adobe no longer supports this. Have tried everything online, including time change on desktop & Nook. Have uninstalled/reinstalled everything several times. Looking for new software to transfer library books to Nook.
