unable to download from library to ADE License server communication problem E_ADEPT_TIMEOUT

I'm trying to download an ebook from library to ADE and it comes up License Server communication problem.  What does this mean?

    I've got the same thing happening. Searching for this error message and the one I get when trying to return a borrowed book, it appears that when this happens, it takes a day or two or three for the problem to get fixed. So while it's irritating that I"ll lose a few of the 21 days of the library books I borrowed today, I'm not too concerned about it not being resolved. I'll just have to make certain that until it is fixed, I'm only borrowing Overdrive books.
