Unable to open ACSM books in Adobe Digital Editions (Error Getting License)

Hello, I just purchased a new Windows PC and do not have access to my old Windows PC that had Adobe Digital Editions. I was downloading some eBooks I purchased on the Google Play Store Books as ACSM files. The first book worked just fine, but it is repeatedly throwing up an error after that. The error says: 'Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem: E_GOOGLE_DEVICE_LIMIT_REACHED.' I am attaching a screenshot of the error here.

I have tried restarting the system, as well as uninstalling and reinstalling the system. I am not sure what to do. Please note that I am very much able to access books on https://play.google.com/store/books and am able to successfully download them to my PC. My problem lies just with trying to get the books to open in Adobe Digital Editions. I also confirmed with a Google support executive that I still have access to the books and that the validity of those books has not expired or anything.
