Unable to open authorized ebooks from same computer; asking for another vendor Id

Recently my computer froze and I was forced to re-install my Adobe digital edition. Although the ebooks reloaded automatically, I am unable to open them. It keeps asking for a vendor Id or an authorized Id. This includes books that I previously purchased not only rented books. Please help me to access it.
