Unable to open eBooks

I am unable to open my eBooks on my bookshelf. I purchased the eBooks off booktopia. It comes up with a window saying:

Unable to open Trauma Trails, Recreating Song Lines

Errors were encountered in this item

file://C:/Users/Colleen/Documents/My%20Digital%20Editions/Trauma%20Trails,%20Recreating%20Song%20Lines.pdf

Can someone please help with this issue? I need this textbook to finish a university assignment that is due this weekend.

I had the same problem. I solved it by simply reinstalling the software.
