unable to read Adobe Digital Editions library books on Kobo ereader

Hi there,

I am trying to read libary books on my kobo e-reader. Kobo is telling me to deactivate my computer through Adobe Digital Editions, but the password (and vendor id) that they are asking me to enter are not working. I have not been entering in a Vendor ID (I dont have one) and the password I have been entering is not ever correct despite having Adobe change it. Adobe is telling me to go through my Mac and put a dat file in the trash, but I can't figure out how to do that.

Can someone help me?
