Unable to transfer book from ADE to NOOK

The book was downloaded from library to ADE and I can read it on ADE.  There are 20 days remaining in the library borrowing period and it indicates this in ADE.  It apparently transfers to the NOOK, but when I try to open it on NOOK, I get the message "This book has been returned.  Loan not on record"
