Unable to view or re-download my ebooks

The ADE window opens, and is empty of books. When I click "Add to library" the file opens showing all the books downloaded prior to Nov. 10. When I click on one of them, the program shows "The document you are attempting to add already exists in your library."

How can I straighten this out?
