Hi,

My previous laptop is dead (motherboard). As I can't restart it, I need to find a way to unauthorized it. Otherwise I can not use my Adobe ID on my new laptop with my Kobo (only 1 computer is authorized).

I search  a solution for weeks and I am depressed as I can not use my Kobo anymore.

Could you please help me ?? thank you very much in advance,

Camillle

    Correct answer Nanaky

    Windows 10

Close all applications on the new device.
    Press WINDOWS + R.
In the Open text box, type regedit and then press Enter. The Registry Editor opens.
In the left pane of the Registry Editor, locate the following registry key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Adept
    Remove the Adept Folder.
In the Confirm Key Delete dialog, click OK.
    Close the Registry Editor.
Open Adobe Digital Editions and reauthorize..

Normal the Adobe ID is the eMail-Adresse of your Adobe Account. Or work you on the old device without a Autorisation?

Hi Nanaky, thank you for your answer. I am trying to use the new laptop as the old one is out of order. But Adobe Editions consider that my ID is already linked with this old laptop. I need to unauthorized the old one to be able to give the authorization to the new one !

Any idea how to unauthorized the broken laptop ?

    Thank you in advance !
