Updates not working

Every single time I open ADE it requires the administrator password and an update screen pops up.  I click to update and it brings me back to the book title screen.  Also, when the update screen pops up it says to check what new features are included in the update.  I click it and doesn't open.

Has anyone come across this issue.  If so, what is the solution?

Also, why does it need the admin password all the time?

    If you want anything (Update or Program) you must enter the Admin-Password because its changing your system and that can only the admin.
