Upgraded to 4.0 now I cannot get books transferred from library , it keeps saying Error!check activation

I have upgraded to ADE 4.0 but now I cannot get books from library to download to it

It keeps saying Error Check Activation

I tried to deauthorize  and uninstall , It will not let me unauthorize  it says "Unable to deauthorize, Please try at a later time

I uninstalled and reinstalled ,, same thing

HELP
