User Interface, Zoom

Hi!

I'm using ADE 2.0 on a Mac. When I use the inbuilt zoom and zoom to 4x it becomes difficult to use. When I press space bar the screen advances to somewhere on the next page and not further down the current page, which I am still trying to read. In a regular pdf hitting space bar would bring me directly to the point in the text that comes next. What's wrong? What am I missing? Is there any way that I can auto-advance the text with a shortcut key like the spacebar? I have the same issues when I use the Mac magnification, open apple plus. Any help you would have would be so appreciated! Thanks in advance for your time and consideration.
