Using ADE on Linux Mint with Wine. Can't authorize my Kobo since ADE simply can't see it.

I installed ADE using Wine and Winetricks. Download of ebook works fine, but I can't authorize my Kobo from ADE since it doesn't even see it. Is it because I am using ADE through Wine?
