Using ADE with VoiceOver?

I am totally blind and just downloaded ADE on my iPhone 12 Mini. I just wanted some tips on using this app with VoiceOver, which is Apple's built-in screen reader. I have 3 books in my library and I can find the search, go to page, etc. But I can't figure out how to start reading the book continuously. Any help would be appreciated.
