Where are my books? All the books I own under my Adobe ID in Adobe Digital Editions aren't showing up on the other computers. How do I transfer them?

It says in the FAQ all the books that belong to an Adobe ID can be transferred to computers authorized with that ID. I downloaded a book on my desktop but it didn't transfer to my laptop. They are both authorized computers. Shouldn't it just transfer automatically through the cloud? How do I transfer the book?

    Please unauthorize & reauthorize the computer.

    This did not work for me. A book I purchased has not shown up on the newly authorized computer. I double-checked the DE ID and it is the same, so there should be no problem, but there still is. Deauthorizing and reauthorizing did not work. I am using Windows 10 on the new computer, if that is helpful.
