Windows 8 says that Adobe Digital isn't compatible

I had the Adobe 4.5 working in my computer, and suddenly, it began to get stuck when opening.  Windows said to try an earlier version, so I went to version 2.  It won't open either.

Which version should I use?  I deleted the 4.5 and reinstalled.  Didn't work. Tried the 2, and it won't work, too.

Every time that I do the reinstall, I have to turn my computer off and on again, because it gets stuck in the loading files part, and then I can't reinstall while it's working.

Please help quickly!  I got an ordered library book the other day, and want to read it!
