Wrong Book is Downloaded

I recently purchased the 6 main Dune books from Google Books. Initially, it would not work at all so contacted Google about it. Then, it would say the book i downloaded is Dune Messiah. Unfortunately when using the ACSM files on ADE, it doesn't download Dune Messiah, the second book in the series. Instead, it downloads God Emporer of Dune, the fifth book in the series.

I have already done the processes provided to me by google which was to remove it from my library on ADE and try to redownload. To uninstall ADE, reinstall and then restart my PC and have the same issues. At this point, I'm not sure if the seller on Google Books is the issue or if ADE is the problem. At one point it was downloading Chapterhouse: Dune instead. Thanks for the help.

Also I want to note that when contacting tech support they told me ADE is an obsolete product and support is no longer provided, which, seems ridiciulous if it is still actively being used in the digital book industry. I have provided stitched together screenshots showing this.

I had opened up a support ticket with google. After a bit of back and forth as well as sending a video showing thoroughly what was happening, they didn't respond much outside of that they are working on it. However, after 2 months, they just got back to me saying it was fixed. I checked, and yes, it is working for me now. Based off of what they said earlier in the back and forth, they were getting reports from other people. So if you and I were having the same issue, it might be fixed now for you as well.

I'm getting the same issue but I noticed something really weird. I bought like 100 books. The books are separated into multiple series. So if download books 1-3, 5-6 in series 1, they work just fine in ADE. Book 4 does not. Whatever the previous book is that put in ADE is what book 4 loads as. So if load in book 2, then book 4, then I have 2 copies of book 2. However, if load in book 2, then book 3, then book 4, then I have 1 copy of book 2 and 2 copies of book 3.

To make this even stranger, if I then download all of the books in series 2 and load them in, they're all fine except for book 2. But after loading them all in, if I attempt to load in book 4 from the first series, it still loads in as the last book I did from the first series, not the last book I've done. This makes no sense to me. It's like they're somehow linked together within their own series.

This might have something to do with that I purchased each series as a separate bundle.

I have the same problem. I purchased a set of 2 books, book 2 can be downloaded on ADR, but the book 1 cover and contact are the same as book 2.
Could you tell me how you can solve it?
I try to uninstall ADE, reinstall, and then restart my computer. Also can't fix the problem.

Did the same thing and they keep just sending me to articles that are related to "unable to download my books" which isn't the same thing. The support from Adobe for this is pretty much non-existent which is great for the fact it's the only option for DRM that everyone uses.

My resolution to this has been give up and buy it on a different store front and now it does what it is supposed to so I have my book 2 of Dune after paying for it twice since no one knows what they're doing apparently.

To be clear I am NOT GETTING ERRORS at all. I am just recieving the wrong book. All the other books have downloaded fine and work as intended except this one.
