your eReader is not authorized to open this book ...

I use a MAC PRO.

I have used ADE  for along time without major problems.

Now, I download a book from my local library and am told "your eReader is not authorized to open this book   ...   you previously deauthorized your reader   ...   visit kobo.com for more information.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled ADE 4.5 on my MAC, reauthorised the reader, and continue to get the same message.

any advice?

I am having the same problem as everyone else. I cannot get past this saying my ereader is not authorized to open this book. I have a Mac OS Big Sur and my adobe digital edition is not working and it is 4.5. It was working before until I got this new computer. Kobo did not solve the problem and even talked to Apple. Help?

Did someone reply? I did see it for a moment and now unable to find it. I have two kobos and one is less than a year old. I also have a laptop with mac OS Catalina and that is also not working.  Thank you for any help.
