Zoom Greyed Out

First of all, I have to say that Adobe's level of support for issues involving this is ridiculous. I am forced to use this app because of a course textbook and I am not able to zoom. The zoom option is greyed out and I have spent many hours trying to fix this issue.

Is there a solution to this? I have seen that others have had the same issue.

    Can anyone from Adobe pipe in on this?

    It works on my laptop where my OS is 10.11 but not my desktop 10.9

    Possibly related to OS?

      I have exactly the same issue, and it even includes the "how to" file from Adobe Digital Editions. So how one is meant to read anything

      without any possibility of zooming I have no idea...

        If zoom work or not are not a issue of digital Edition. The point is the format of your eBook. If you used a PDF can used Zoom if you are used a ePub you can not used it.

        I have a PDF and with the latest version I cannot zoom anymore
