10.13 High Sierra and Software update

Hi, Anyone has any tips or tricks to update apps in High Sierra. - I can install 2019 versions of the software. Indesign 14, Illustrator 23, Photoshop 20.   But I can't update their versions, to Indesign 14.2, illustrator 23.0.4, Photoshop 20.0.6.  The problem appears to be my version of creative cloud app, that claims that has an update avaiable for my versions. But not allow me to download the files.

I also remove everything and install an older verion of creative app ACCCx4_9_0_504, more compatible with older mac os, unfortunately it auto-update for the current version 5.9.0.373.

your os is too old to update those apps:  https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/system-requirements.html

eg, to update ps to the most recent, you need 10.15 (catalina) or later.

ie, you need to update your os, or live with the previous versions that are compatible with your os.  the link above allows you to confirm you have that last versions compatible with your os.

I wan't to live with previous versions, but I want to update these apps to the most advanced version of them.  23.0 could go to 23.04. I have another machine that runs older versions of Creative Cloud and everything is fine. It runs 10.11 - El Captain and Creative Cloud version 4.3.0.256. With that version of creative cloud, the softwares - indesign, photoshop and illustrator - is update to last suported versions of there lives.

your other mac was updated to the latest version WHEN those versions were still available via the cc desktop app.  currently they are not available via the app.  ie, if your other mac had not updated those version months ago, it wouldn't be able to update them (via the app) now, either.

and, if you had updated the apps on your problematic mac months ago, you wouldn't see the problem you're seeing now.

at this point, assemble a list of the apps and versions you want and then,

for older versions the predate cc 2020, most adobe download links are available from prodesigntools.com. https://prodesigntools.com/adobe-direct-download-links.html

for older version links that antedate cc 2019, contact support.

use a browser that allows popups and cookies and contact adobe support by clicking here, https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
in the chat field (lower right), type AGENT
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human

p.s you can also use phone (but chat is usually quicker), https://helpx.adobe.com/contact/phone.html

p.p.s. you can also use twitter to tweet @AdobeCare

p.p.p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative. ie, double check for an employee badge if contacted in the forums and look for an adobe.com domain in the email address if you click reply to an email. then check again and be very suspicious. any other method of contacting (or offering to contact you) is almost certainly a scam, https://community.adobe.com/t5/using-the-community-discussions/staying-safe-in-the-adobe-support-community/td-p/12919684/redirect_from_archived_page/true
