11:34 am] Gene Philbrick: Problem: Desire to update Acrobat.com from vs. 2.0.0.0 to vs. 2.3.0.0, However, rec'd Acrobat Error #16820 on 2 different browsers. Request update assistance!

    Hi,

    Which Acrobat.com service are you referring to?

    These are our web based service and the latest version is run when you login to access the same. Is there anyplace where you are able to view the version number?

    Initially I had an Acrobat_com icon on my desktop. I clicked it and the

    indication was "Mandatory Update from vs. 2.0.0.0 to vs.2.3.0.0 was

    available". I clicked it and received "Acrobat Error 16820 on Opera

    browser and again on IE.

    I called Adobe (Don) at 1-800-642-3623. He indicated I did not need the

    program "Acrobat_com" and could delete it & the icon on the desktop since

    my Adobe Reader was up to date. Upon deletion, the Recycle Bin indicated

    that only the

    icon had been deleted and the program had not (recently) been loaded on my

    computer. I did update Adobe Flash Player from 10 to 11.1.102.55.

    I do not know that I am missing any needed capability.

    When you had the icon on your desktop, what would clicking on it do and what were you using this icon for?

    When you look at your list of programs, do you see this application listed?
