I have been subscribing to creative cloud for about 18 months now (LR and PS) however in January I bought a seagate external hard drive with a promotion running of two months free LR and PS. I activated this but am still being charged £19.99. Who can help?

This DEAL might be for New customers only. It is more than likely put on by Adobe through WD if you buy a WD External drive. I believe if you bought that same drive without the LR/PS 2 month deal it would cost the same. that is why I say Adobe is sponsoring it, with the help of WD.

You should read the Fine Print. Here it is.

* Two-month membership to Adobe Creative Photography plan is redeemable during product registration. Internet connection and Adobe ID required. Available in all countries where the Adobe Creative Cloud is available. Offer limited to 1 per new Adobe user account. Offer must be redeemed by July 31, 2020 while activation code supplies lasts. WD reserves the right to change or discontinue this offer at any time without notice. See https://www.adobe.com/legal.html

So what that mean is IF you are a New user of Adobe, a New Adobe ID or an Adobe ID that does not current subscribe to any plan , and subscribe to a 1 year Photography plan subscription you get either 14 months subscription period, only making 12 payments, or you get the last 2 months of the 1 year subscription without having to pay for it.

Adobe is looking for New users. Not giving away 2 free months to current subscribers with the purcahse of a WD external drive.

This is a public forum, not the link to Adobe support
-other users here can't help with an account problem
Be sure to remain signed in with your Adobe ID before accessing the link below
-you must also allow 'cookies' in your web browser for this to work
https://helpx.adobe.com/contact/support.html
-click the chat icon at the bottom right of the page to open a chat session
-the chat icon looks like '3 dots inside a circle' at the lower right
-type AGENT into the chat window to connect directly to a person rather than the AI
.

It is a failure on the original poster to read the fine print on this supposedly FREE offer.

There is no such thing as a Free lunch or 2 free months of an Adobe subscription plan. They both cost somebody something. In the case of this offer the user has to sign up for at least a 1 year subscription, costs him something, he has to something for that subscription plan, and Adobe makes slightly less pre month for the first year.
