2 Versions of Premiere Pro Simultaneously

Hello,

 

Apologies if this has already been covered in another thread, but I haven't been able to find it. Is there a way to download a previous version of Premiere Pro and keep that on the computer for older projects? 

 

I am running MacOS 12.0.1

Processor: 2.4GHz 8 Core Intel Core i9

Memory: 32 GB 2400 MHz DDR4

 

I currently have Premiere Pro 14.0.1 installed which I'm using on a long-running documentary project. I would love to be able to install the latest Premiere Pro software to use on my newer projects that need to play nice with the latest version of AE and other programs. 

 

Is there a trick for doing this so I don't screw everything up? I've been burned in the past. 🙂

For the preference setting, scroll down to "How to retain previous versions of your app" (step 4)

    There is a setting in the CC app that allows you to keep the old versions installed when downloading new versions.
