6 hrs and trying to download and install Premiere. Great product!!

First, after downloading for 2.5 hours, it said it couldn't install because Dreamweaver was open. Couldn't close (have to force quit Dreamweaver about twice a day -- switching to better product) Dreamweaver without exiting the dialog box. Hoping it could have at least saved the download. No such luck with this system. Round 2: 2.5 hour install -- said download successful, but patch failed. No save of downloaded files? Prompting me to spend another 2.5 hour to try again for round 3. Do you test this stuff?? InDesign update also a fail.

Make sure you are extracting the files in administrator or else it will have problems, if that's okay then may be the downloaded files have a problem and that's why getting error while extracting them. Could you please download Photoshop CC as a trial version and then activate by signing in.

Link to download: http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cc-direct-download-links.html and choose Photoshop from the list. Please follow the Very Important Instructions from there or else download will not start.

Hi Rajshree,

Thank you for responding.

I am using the desktop administrator.

I was able to finally get Premiere to install. And InDesign update.

My frustration is that whenever you have large downloads, a lot can go wrong. In Apple’s update process, for instance, you can do partial uploads, and restart the process. If your 2-3 hour download fails, or if you have to pause the process, you can resume where you left off. I’m not seeing that here. What I’m seeing, and correct me if I’m wrong, is that if there is any interruption in this long process, you have to start over from scratch — making it a whole day event.

I tried downloading After Effects last night, and had to give up this morning for a Skype interview  -- after 5 hours. I’ll have to start completely over. Maybe I’m doing it wrong, but I find this process flawed.

Thanks,

Keith Kraus
