AAE CS5.5 LAUNCH ISSUE

I needed to reinstall AAE CS5.5 after my PC crashed and installed new hardware. It installs 100% and launches correctly but after restarting or swtiching off and then starting again AAE will not launch. Right clicking on the shortcut does not help because there is no "open" to click on. AAE is also no longer under all programs. When checking in "uninstall programs" AE is there but no AE icon only a white rectangle. The only way to get AE to open is to uninstall and then ro reinstall again. Will appreciate some help on this one.

    Make your system restore behave and check your user account. you have insufficient user privileges and cannot make permanent changes to your system.
