accessing InDesign publication with free trial version???

Downloaded the free trial of Creative Suite to update an InDesign publication. This is my first week on the job and I suspect that my predecessor had done the 30-day trial. (I get a message that the trial has expired). So I created my own username account and downloaded, but when I attempt to open a document, I am asked for a serial number - which I don't have, so the only option is to close out.  How can I access and edit my publication?

Hi Mfoynes,

After a trial expires, you need a serial number to install the software as a licensed version. Or, you can install trial software on another computer. We cannot extend the trial version.

That's a shame. I used other products for publishing and was looking forward to taking InDesign out for a test ride. Figured I could qualify for the trial since it was not me who actually had the trial. Don't know if I'll have the chance now.
