Account gone crazy
My Adobe account has gone crazy. (I am writing this with a temporary account.)
1) I have had great trouble logging in. After resetting my P/W twice, I chatted with an agent who used a tool to reset my P/W. That worked.
2) I then logged on to purchase Premiere Elements 11. That worked, but when I clicked the "download" icon, I was booted to another login screen. Logging in failed.
3) At that point I was able to log in to Adobe, but all attempts to download PE11 led to a new login screen where login failed. Talking with Chat agents did not help. One told me to wait 24 hours, which did not help.
4) I tried to download the demo version of PE11 and it failed: "Unable to invoke cfc - the current user is not authorized to invoke this method." Finally I created this temporary account and was able to download the demo version with no problem.
5) Later attempts to log in to Adobe using my real account failed. I reset my password and immediately tried to log in, and that failed.
6) I called Adobe and asked to delete my account, thinking I could start another. The agent told me I have too much software registered to delete the account.
7) Adobe keeps sending me email asking me to log in to the Support Portal, but I cannot.
I still cannot use my real account for much of anything, and the only way I can contact Adobe under that account is with this temporary account or using Chat, which is mostly useless. How can I fix my account?
Thank you.
