Can I use Adobe XI Pro I bought for Windows on my MacBook Air? (One license).

    Correct answer John Waller

If it's part of a Cloud membership, then yes.

If you purchased the software as a perpetual license, then no. Perpetual licenses (paid once upfront) are issued with platform-specific serial numbers - Windows only or Mac only.

Thanks for your reply, John, though it's not what I wanted to hear. If I buy a Mac license, then, can I use it on two MacBooks, and use the license I have on a a second Windows machine? For my purposes, scanning documents and combining them into subject sets, I have found I require all the functionality of Acrobat XI Pro. I do not have any need for CSS applications.

    Hi Seronera,

There are two ways to buy the Acrobat XI Pro, either you can buy a subscription which enables you to install the product on upto 2 machines either Mac or Windows.

The other way is to get a serial number and you will be able to install on only 1 platform i.e. either Windows or Mac

    Thanks!
